Dear Parents and Coaches,
Welcome to Rush Athletic Development. My name is Scott Jones. I have been involved in athletic training for 20 years.
I began forming RAD two years ago after the birth of my third child. M y children now 9, 6 and 3, are involved in as many sports as we are able to get the m to. I think my next venture will be to start a kid's sports taxi service, transporting kids to their practices and games, but I digress.
I would like for my children to be as good as they can be in their sports. I have reservations about how young athletes are being trained in schools and other out of school camps or clinics. These factors, along with wanting the best possible training for my children, prompted me to begin writing the protocol for RAD’s Performance Enhancement Courses.
These courses were designed from the ground up to take an entirely new and innovative approach to developing athleticism. Notice I did not say developing “young athletes”.
RAD was formed to help all young people that want to acquire some state of athleticism.
RAD was also formed because there is a lack of professional physiological training for our young people. I do not understand why all professional training is available to older or elite athletes when the young athletes are the most susceptible to injuries and learned biomechanical errors.
There are “speed camps” and “sports clinics” out there but are ALL children ready to go “full speed”!? Have these children been properly prepared for these maximal effort environments? If they have not been prepared at the core, joint, muscular and physiological levels then what are they really learning physically??
The love of my children and of sports has driven me to try and answer these questions. My solution is RAD’s Performance Enhancement Courses.
Sincerely,

WHY
WAS RAD FORMED?
RAD focuses on the building an athlete from the inside out.
Starting from the ground up and balancing all forces on the
body before trying to place them in a cookie cutter program
to make them "Big and Strong."
