Rush Athletic Development presents Athletic Enhancement Courses (AEC's), beginning Summer of 2009.

WHY WAS RAD FORMED?

RAD focuses on the building an athlete from the inside out.
Starting from the ground up and balancing all forces on the
body before trying to place them in a cookie cutter program
to make them "Big and Strong."

Scott Jones

"My name is Scott Jones.  I have been interested in the human body my entire life.  This interest has become a career I enjoy everday.  I have trained professional athletes through a wide range of sports.  However, something happened after I started my own family.  I realized there were no training options for my children.  There were no programs to increase their balance and core strength.  There were no training regimes to assess them properly and take them on a programmed path toward athleticism.  At that point I began to form Rush Athletic Development.  My goal with RAD is to provide the best ATHLETIC EDUCATION I know how.  Each RAD course will provide not only the physical training to become a better athlete, but will also serve to provide students with information they can take forward in order to train safely and effectively the rest of their lives."

Brian Darden
brian@rushathletic.com

"Hello, my name is Brian Darden.  Though my professional athletic career ended as a free agent with the Green Bay Packers, my love for sports and competition remains strong.  Twenty years of organized sports has left me asking a question, "Why do most athletes do the same movements or training regimen?"  I joined RAD because it is our goal to create a base from which athleticism can be developed to the fullest. That base comes from assessing each athlete individually and making their weaknesses a STRENGTH. Being a nationally recognized running back from Vicksburg, MS, I know full well what discipline it takes to bring your skills to another level.

Jon Hering
jon@rushathletic.com

"My name is Jon Hering.  I have been through normal high school and collegiate training programs and it has never felt quite right.  Seeing the imbalances and deficiencies in almost all of my athletic clients has made me question and rethink everything I was taught.  A question I like to present to my athletes is, "Why are you training?"  The traditional answer of, "bigger, faster, stronger", is no longer satisfactory.  Our goal at RAD is to create a more BALANCED athlete, more balanced in every sense of the word.  Bigger, faster, stronger without control could be a liability to your joints and tissues.   In RAD we have created an environment to EDUCATE these athletes, not just throw weights on them. In RAD we would like to expose these athletes to the absolute LATEST training technology, not just have them run fast.  Through RAD we want to create TRUE athletes."
